The short answer
Choose Later if you want a visual planner across many platforms, a link in bio page, a social inbox or help with influencer campaigns. Choose CampaignFlow if you want each campaign planned slot by slot and every draft checked against what the campaign has already said.
CampaignFlow and Later, side by side
| Aspect | CampaignFlow | Later |
|---|---|---|
| Built around | A campaign as one body of work: planned, written, scheduled and tracked together. | Social media management and influencer marketing, with link in bio. |
| Campaign planning | Every slot gets a format, an ask and a pillar before anyone writes; repeats are flagged. | A drag-and-drop Visual Planner and best times to post on some plans. |
| Draft checking | Each draft checked against the run: spent hashtags, repeated figures, your don't-say list. | AI Caption Writer and Ideas, on monthly credits. |
| Client approval | Reviewers approve or ask for changes from a link, with no login. Sign-off, not a gate. | Content approval and external comment workflows on higher plans. |
| Platforms | Instagram, Facebook Pages, YouTube and Threads. LinkedIn is pending platform review. | Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat. |
| Scheduling | The whole run scheduled in one go; re-checked 15 minutes before; unready posts held. | Posts, Stories, Reels, Pins and Shorts scheduled from the planner. |
| Analytics | Each post measured against your own median; posts re-read on all four platforms when you sign in. | Per-platform analytics, with benchmarking and brand mentions on its top plan. |
| Engagement | No inbox and no comment replies. | A Social Inbox for comments and DMs on higher plans. |
| Free plan | Yes, no card and no trial clock. Custom is arranged by email. | A free trial of paid plans. See their pricing page. |
| Beyond scheduling | Alerts to Slack, Discord, Telegram, email or a webhook; Google Drive import. | Link in bio pages and influencer marketing services and software. |

Where CampaignFlow is different
Later helps you see how a feed will look. CampaignFlow helps you decide what each post should be and whether it repeats the last one. The rotation planner gives every slot a format, an ask and a pillar, and names the pillar furthest behind its share.
Drafts are checked as they are written, against the whole run rather than one post at a time:
- Spent hashtags and repeated headline figures are flagged. See hashtag tracking.
- Your own don't-say list catches claims that are almost true.
- The run is scheduled in one go, each post is re-checked 15 minutes before it goes out, and a post that is not ready is held back.
- Each post is measured against your own median rather than an industry average.
Where Later is the better choice
Later reaches more platforms, including TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat, and schedules formats such as Stories, Pins and Shorts. CampaignFlow publishes to four platforms, and LinkedIn is still pending review.
Later also does things CampaignFlow does not attempt. It offers link in bio pages, a social inbox for comments and DMs, competitive benchmarking on its top plan, and influencer marketing, both as a platform and as full-service programmes. If creators or a shoppable bio link are central to your plans, Later covers them and CampaignFlow does not. CampaignFlow is also a young product, still adding platforms.
Who each one suits
Later suits creators and brands whose social work is visual and spread across many platforms, especially where influencer campaigns or a bio link drive results.
CampaignFlow suits people who run campaigns as a sequence, where the order of formats, the strength of each ask and the claims made along the way matter as much as the look of the feed. It is also useful where a client must sign off without signing up.
Switching
There is no importer from Later. Moving to CampaignFlow means answering ten questions about your brand, audience, voice and the claims you must never make, then planning your next campaign. Past posts stay where they are.
The Free plan needs no card, so you can plan and ship one real campaign before deciding. If you depend on the inbox or link in bio, keep Later for those. For agencies, see CampaignFlow for agencies.
